Narvi & Vali/Ten of Swords returns today in the Active Influence position, so, yes, more pain, heartbreak, rage, and everything that goes with them.
Today’s balance card, however, is not the spirit of creative survival embodied by Loki. It is the unrefrained sorrow of Hreidmar, mourning his murdered son Ottar. Though he was paid weregild, the pile of gold does not buy peace in his heart, or acceptance of his loss. Similarly, while you are offered some sort of compensation for your loss, it does not actually heal your pain. Accept the weregild, and then let yourself mourn.
Yr reversed says that you are unfocused by your emotional overwhelm. That’s going to have to be okay, because you need to take the time to mourn, to really feel your feelings, before you can move on. Attempting to stuff your feelings down and ignore them and just carry on is not the way to go today. Feel what you feel, and don’t apologize for it. Tomorrow is a new day, and you can deal with other things more calmly because you have taken the time today to deal with your own stuff.
