Poem: Mercy ~ Ron. Lavalette

Mercy
~ Ron. Lavalette

He takes a breath
feels the switch
hears the click and
almost instantly
all the numbers
disappear
forever.

Note: I posted this poem because there are days when I want to drop the contents of my in-box into the shred bin, delete all of my email, and go live in a cottage somewhere in rural Ireland with no phone and no wifi. I am certain I’m not the only one who has those days.
If this is one of those days for you, I hope it improves!
